NYC School Survey-- Please fill it out using the link below!

We need your feedback now more than ever.
All families can take the survey online – in any of the nine NYCDOE supported languages – using their student’s nine-digit identification (OSIS) number. They can find the OSIS number on the report card, student ID card or their NYCSA account. Families completing the survey online should go to the NYC School Survey website (, enter the letter “f” (lowercase) followed by their student’s nine-digit OSIS number, and complete the survey.
• If families have more than one child in the same school or program, they should fill out one survey for each child in their family. If a family has children in two or more New York City schools or programs, the family should fill out a separate survey for each school and program.
Please use the following link to take the 2020-21 Survey now:

If you do not have the OSIS #, please call the main office
(718) 326-8261.

The classes with 100 completion will win an extra period of recess with ice cream/icees.

Countdown to June 4th!

Parent Notice: Supplemental Non-Attendance Day for Students to Support Teacher Planning and Preparation for Upcoming School-Year

May 26, 2021

Dear Parents and Guardians of PS/IS 119Q community,

A School-Based Option (SBO) allows staff at a school the ability to collaboratively modify contractual articles that are not typically permissible under the contract. Earlier this year, under formal leadership and in partnership with our UFT delegate for 119, Ms. Calvo, a SBO was designed and approved for one day to be a non-attendance day for students to permit teachers to meet, plan and have extra preparation time for the following school year.

As a result, this message serves to inform you that students will have a non-attendance day on Monday, June 14th. On non-attendance days, the students have no instruction or asynchronous work on this day, and no attendance is taken. Therefore, there is no impact on their attendance record.

In partnership,

Mrs. Robinson-Etkins

Principal, Acting

The students can simply record themselves so they do not need to attend. Their poem, however, will be seen by hundreds of DOE staff and leadership!  Please submit your recordings to if you wish to participate.
